Smeargle was introduced in Jhoto and it itself has the ability to learn any move making it a healthy edition to any time.

- Seismic Toss/ Night Shade
- Ice Shard/ Shadow Sneak/ Mach Punch/ Extremespeed
This Smergel needs a little luck to get going. Putting the foe to sleep is Essential to creating your entry hazards and then it has seismic toss as a good damage dealer. Night Shade also works but either sismic toss or night shade both have thier dissadvantges. Smergel is also a good Revange killer with this set as you can switch it out after putting up your rocks/ spikes and then when the foe with low health defeats your last pokemon you simply let smergel rock and roll with a granteed first hit move.

This Smergel is mostly used just to Esplode and take a sweeper down with it. it also would never be expected for a smergel to have explosion so it is a very nasty surprise that very few people would be able to counter. Also it would give it Stab+ choice item makes Explosionmergle one of the most deadly explsiopn pokemoin out there, despite its rather low atk. although status inflictors and U-turn are there for filler spots.
These are the two best Smergel sets and i hope you find them as useful as i have.
